You said you installed the Control point security manager driver but did you install the application? I am not 100% sure but I from what I can remember from when I reinstalled vista on my system the Broadcom USH CV w/ Fingerprint Swipe Sensor was unknown untill I installed the Control Point Security Manager Application.Įdit: My initial search did not include looking through my Universal Serial Bus controllers section of the Device Manager (there are just so many of them) but I just did and I found that exact ID listed as a USB Composite Device. I could not find that exact hardware ID on my E6400 but I found one that is extremely similar.
